Roger's Story

Roger Price was a well-loved Bible teacher who sadly passed away in 1987. In his short career he wrote 4 books and recorded around 300 Bible studies. He ministered throughout the British Isles and widely in Europe, particularly in Sweden, Germany and Holland. He was renowned for his ability to explain complex theology in an easily understandable way.

Originally born in London, Roger moved to Bognor Regis after training as a teacher. There, alongside teaching Geography at Bishop Luffa School, he became a founder member of the Chichester Christian Fellowship.

As the Fellowship grew, Roger started giving Bible talks, including a ‘Basic Bible Study’ course of over 100 lectures in the fundamentals of Christian living and belief. In 1975 he left teaching in order to become a full-time Bible Teacher and was in constant demand.

Roger met and married Ros in 1978 and they went on to have two wonderful children! In 1986 he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and passed away, at home, on 4th January 1987. He has been desperately missed ever since.
